Anne W Brown has been around the arts all her life...from the past ten years with Fine Art Connoisseur and PleinAir Magazines as Associate Editor to serving on committees and boards of a wide variety of art organizations from Scottsdale Art School to the Salmagundi Club and advising organizations such as the National Sculpture Society.
Passion runs very deep in Anne’s relationships with artists, art organizations and museums. As a teenager, she had the fortune to travel most Saturdays to the Cleveland Institute of Art to take a wide variety of classes. After degrees in fine art and marketing, she worked at an ad agency in Providence, Rhode Island, while working on her masters in art history at Brown University. Moving to NYC, Anne enjoyed all the city had to offer in the arts and marketing and although the west has taken her heart for over 30 years, she still enjoys her regular trips back to “THE city.”
Working with galleries, museums, and the media as a successful professional artist, Anne has seen all sides of the art industry. This career status helps her relate to art professionals from emerging to museum directors.
Anne has enjoyed the arts during her lives in Cincinnati, Laguna Beach, Zion National Park, and Scottsdale before finally settling in Western Montana in 2014. The travel, gardening, reading, and philanthropic aspects of her life are shared with her partner, Rusty, their grown children, their partners and two adorable grandsons.
